One shortcut to capture anything. Route thoughts, tasks, and bookmarks to 20+ apps instantly.
Features
Press ⌘⇧Space from anywhere to open the capture panel. Type, pick a destination, send. Back to what you were doing in seconds.
Send captures to Obsidian, Things, Todoist, Apple Reminders, Raindrop.io, NotePlan, Drafts, Day One, Bear, files, webhooks, and more.
Set a default destination or choose on the fly. Keyboard shortcuts let you pick destinations without touching the mouse.
Everything stays on your Mac. No account required. API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain, not in plain text.
Browse, search, and filter past captures. See what you sent, where it went, and when. Export or delete as needed.
New versions are delivered automatically via Sparkle. Updates are signed with EdDSA so you always get the genuine build.

Beta
This is a beta. Some things aren't finished yet. Here's what we know about.
FAQ
~/Library/Application Support/Intake. API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain. Nothing is sent to external servers unless you configure a webhook destination.
Privacy
Intake does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All capture history and settings stay on your Mac. API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain.
Intake uses Sparkle to check for updates. This sends a request to GitHub to check for new versions. Sparkle may send your macOS version, app version, and hardware architecture as part of this request. No personally identifiable information is included.
If enabled, Intake syncs settings across your Macs via iCloud. This data is governed by Apple's iCloud privacy policy. No capture content is synced — only configuration and destination settings.
If you configure a webhook destination (including Make.com, Zapier, or a custom URL), capture content is sent to that endpoint. Intake does not control what those services do with your data. No data is sent to external services unless you explicitly configure a webhook destination.
Intake does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry. No crash reports are sent automatically.
